About Our Favorite Therapist.
Welcome! My name is Mary Schmarje, it is an honor to be your Licensed Massage Therapist during your beautiful stay at the Cherry Tree Inn!
My passion for massage therapy started within.
At a very young age I suffered with a ton of back aches. I constantly had those pesky little knots that we all endure at some point in life. It felt so frustrating that no one could seem to find them. I was a pretty anxious person on top of it all, so that didn’t help my physical well being any more.
I became so intrigued by physical and mental health so becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist was a pretty easy decision.
After completing nearly 800 hours of classes, I was proud to graduate with honors.
While I’ve taken many different courses, I excel most with deep tissue, trigger point, and swedish. I enjoy incorporating all three in my sessions to heal the body and mind for maximum benefits.
During your session, I LOVE feedback. Communication is beautiful and welcome. Whether you like to fall asleep or have me dive into those tough spots, I am here to help you on your journey to heal.
Being a mom to a sweet 5 year old boy and being faithful to my existing clients, I kindly ask when requesting appointments at your earliest convenience and I will do my absolute best to accommodate.

‘A little Something Special” Flowers & Chocolates
You can enhance your stay at the inn by adding a custom designed selection of beautiful mixed flowers or a variety pack of decadent chocolates. Both are locally grown and handcrafted whenever possible. These special additions to your stay can be added when you reserve your room. Please feel free to ask for specific colors or types of flowers. Extra special arrangements can be ordered from local florists and delivered for an additional fee.
Charcuterie Board & Wine
A delectable mix of local cheeses, crackers or bread, fruit, and seasonal treats can be waiting for you in your room upon arrival or delivered at a time you request. This is a blend of chef’s choice items and will vary each day. If you have a specific wine that you’d like added to your order, please request it at the time of reservation.
Date Night -All of the Above
Celebrate your love in style. Everything you could possibly need to make your night special. Flowers, chocolates, wine & cheese ready upon arrival or anytime pre-arranged. Romantic private dinner for 2 from our favorite restaurants served in style later in the evening. Tell me your favorites & dislikes & we will customize your experience. A private chef can be arranged and will be an additional estimated fee of $300-$500 based on your preferences.
Group Dinner Party
We can arrange for a private chef to prepare a special dinner for you and your guests. You select the menu and let our chef prepare your favorites served with appetizers, wine and dessert. Dine in style in your private dining room with the finest china, crystal, linens, candles and flowers. You can also pre-order a special cake for you group dinner or event. Birthdays, anniversaries and weddings all deserve a special cake.
Custom Cookies
Get 6 large & delicious cookies with our exclusive designs in an adorable display. Enjoy all of the varieties of flavors and styles. May require 4 week advanced order if we are out of stock so do order early. You can order at the time of reservation.
Seasonal Treats
We have special seasonal treats available all year round and can customize treats just for you. A Hot Chocolate Charcuterie board with yummy toppings and warm cookies is a favorite in the winter months. Cheese, curried meats, olives and nuts in paper cones provide snacks while enjoying a glass of wine is a Summer favorite. Make your request when you reserve your room and we’ll have something special for you.
Special Requests
Our Inn is known as The Groundhog Day House and we are able to provide you with a wide assortment of Groundhog Day memorabilia. We offer B&B logo items like mugs, t-shirts and custom cookies. We celebrate Groundhog Day 365 days a year so if you have a special request, just let us know. You can order specialty items at check out on our reservation system.
Groundhog Day Events
During Groundhog Day Events (Jan 25 – Feb 8th), we offer a host of special in-house events like cocktails & a movie watch party, trivia, private tours, bingo & a dinner party. There is a minimum 3-night stay during this time. At times, a celebrity may be sharing the space with you. We do ask for everyone to be treated with the same respect you would show your best friend. There is an automatic added cost for stays between Jan 25- Feb 8th when our town has numerous festivities.
