Apple Bourbon Maple Syrup

The Easy way mix 1 part Bourbon maple with 3 part reg syrup. Otherwise, it’s like doing really sweet shots for breakfast. Add a little apple pie filling and heat up. I get our pie filling at the Farmer’s Market.

Or really go all out while your pancake batter rests.

Peel and shred 1 large apple into a small soup pot with 1/2tsp cinnamon.
add 1/2c water & 1-2 shots of Bourbon & bring to a boil, reduce and simmer 15 min add syrup and cook 10 more min. The alcohol will cook-off but the flavor remains.
I use 1/2c Maple 1/2 c Any Pancake Syrup
Want it thicker? Stir 1 tsp cornstarch to 1Tbl cold water. Whisk into the simmering syrup.
